Comments

As a tenant for 6 years and former airport manager at KRPJ I obviously liked the Rochelle Airport. Under the new management as of the middle of March. I had a horrible customer service experience. We keep an airplane in the community hangar. The rules require in and out service by the staff. The arrangement was to call when we returned and the plane would get put away. I called once we returned a little before 7 on a Saturday night. No answer. I tied down and proceeded to call the next person in line. finally got a hold of the manager and he was rude and told me the plane would sit out overnight and how could I expect to have after hours service with the rental rate I was paying.  Who leaves a plane out by choice with inclement weather around? The new management has no interest in service only $$$$$.  I would recommend basing else where and buying your fuel somewhere that you will get service with a smile instead of being badgered.

The airport offers very good service in all aspects-- but we do not favor disgruntled ex-employees who try to take advantage of the services here.

We really hate swindlers. Go try to swindle some other airport, not Rochelle. The city taxpayers and other tennants at the airport deserve to be treated fairly.
