How do I get rid of an aircraft profile that was saved accidentally?

We don't have a way to do that just yet. We'll work on it.

Will be perfect if we had a place to manage all aircrafts, with performances

Any progress on this feature? I, too, accidentally created an unwanted aircraft profile as I was stumbling around. I now have both 42AT and N42AT. I don't need the first. You wrote last August that the delete feature was coming. Can do? Thanks

Steve Beste

I would love to delete an aircraft tail number that I mistyped.  How can I do that?  Where is the delete key???

How do I delete a flight plan?

Flight plans seem to disappear some (unknown) amount of time after the flight plan ETD. So, set the ETD to now and it'll disappear sometime soonish.

Your flight plans are never actually deleted, but they are unavailable to load or copy after 5 days past ETD.

Going back to the original subject. No updates yet on when there will be an option to delete aircraft?

If not update soon, will it be possible to show more than 3 aircraft in the list of aircraft. I have 5 aircraft listed and the last two cannot be seen. I keep forgetting they are there when I have to resuse.

Deleted. Duplicate.

Tried to update the profile of my soon to be flying RV-7A but it keeps reverting to the one I entered initially, which is not the N number I will register.

Raymond L Eaker

I too have a tail number I wish to delete to make room for a new aircraft. Please add this feature.

Just create multiple aircrafts. Type a new N# in and edit it for the new aircraft.

Is there a limit for the number of saved aircraft per user?

 Bumping thread....

 1) Delete option needed.

 2) Drop down menu to see more than 3 aircraft.

we all eagerly awaiting option to:

* delete aircraft

* display more than 3 aircraft

love skyvector, use it alot.   Can we make SkyVector great again and add those features?

I also agree.  I have 5 aircraft I am attempting to keep track of and only 3 show in the pull-down.  I also have 1 aircraft I need to delete as I entered totally incorrect information for it, but I can never seem to get rid of or edit it.  This thread is almost 2 years old.  I am surprised we haven't gotten something as simple as the ability to delete an aircraft yet, since it's all SQL Database stored.  There's gotta be a way to add that parameter in to the list.

Hello Skyvector, are you there?

Please add "delete aircraft" button.

Otherwise, great software.

Thank you very much.

Peter Sorensen

Any work on being able to delete aircraft?  It is getting rather annoying having aircraft taking up the limited slots in the list that are no longer in use.  Seems like a long wait for such an obvious, basic feature.

Ditto. I want to delete aircraft I no longer have.

I think Dave is engaged in for-profit work on the website, lots of FBO functionality and so on. I get that, it's a business. Still... DAVE! If you're there, you'd be a hero to us all if you could knock out this "manage aircraft" function!

The three tail numbers that drop down in the Flight plan Aircraft window are the three most recently used. For the time being, there's no way to delete an airplane, but it will drop out of this top three list as you use other tail numbers/aircraft. There are requests for a longer drop down list and requests for shorter drop down lists and requests for editing your aircrafts. We hope to eventually get to that feature, buthopefully this helps explain some work arounds.

There's still need for a deletion/change function… ;)

Please program a delete button for saved routes. Thanks

Love SkyVector, it is my 'go to' app for flight planning.  But I can't delete old routes and the current ones aren't saved; please add a feature to delete these old routes, or provide a work-around as soon as possible.  Thanks!

After five years i don think its going to happen. Perhaps there is another site that can provide better service.

Ok. It is obvious that no one at SV monitors this forum. Since this is still an open issue with us here I just sent an email to the SV email address. I hope they receive it and provide information about this topic. If anyone else would like to do the same their email is: info@skyvector.com

along with delete, it would also be good if a filght school could provide all of the IACO equipment / pbn / dat data for their fleet, and a that file could be imported for a user.
