West Metro Aviation is owned and operated by the recently retired Lucas Oil Pitts Airshow Pilot, Michael Wiskus with over 30,000 hours of flight time experience, His shop is  staffed by qualified, caring professionals who have a passion for aviation. Our NASCAR style shop is a reflection of the quality work we provide for our customers. Our door is open, come on out, have a cup of coffee, ask some questions, and see what we’re doing at our countryside airport just 20 minutes west of the Twin Cities.

Our Buffalo Municipal Airport (KCFE) gives you a down home country feeling. But don’t let our friendliness and small town feel fool you. We have the equipment and experience to take care of your King Air, Caravan, Piston Twin or Cub. With a combined experience of more than 90 years in the aviation industry, we’ve seen a lot, but we have come to the conclusion that we don’t know it all.  Our network is vast and our contacts are many. If we don’t have a quick solution to your problem, we are not too big to ask advice or search for answers.
