We Love Pilots!
The Southeast Colorado Regional Airport is approximately four miles west of Lamar on approximately 640 acres of City owned land. The City of Lamar serves as an informational source for the public, manages flight related matters, does aircraft maintenance, sells fuel from a City owned fuel farm. The airport offers a comfortable pilots' lounge and courtesy car rentals.
There are two runways, five taxiways, an apron for aircraft parking, maintenance hangars, T-hangars, abundant tie-down space, automated weather service, an unmanned fire station, a variety of navigational aids, and a fuel farm at the Southeast Colorado Regional Airport. The runway can accommodate some business jets and executive aircraft and a wide variety of other commercial and private aircraft. It has the only all weather instrument runway in the southeast corner of the state. The airport service area includes seven counties (Prowers, Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Kiowa, Crowley, Otero).
