Oneonta Municipal Airport serves a significant market niche in Otsego County. It is the closest paved airport to Cooperstown, which is located 20 miles to the north. The Airport features one 4,200 by 75-foot asphalt runway, 6-24, equipped with lighting and instrument navigational aids, cargo, air taxi and charter services. In addition, the Airport is now within a designated Empire Development Zone, which provides tax relief to new businesses.
