We could really use a way to delete flight plans that we don't need or never flew or don't plan to fly...and save the ones we have flown and intend to fly again.
Also, when selecting preferred routes, it seems I cannot select the first route in the list of preferred routes- unfortunately this is usually the one I want to pick as it's usually the TEC route. I end up having to manually type the routes out and can't select the first one in the list. anyone else have this problem?
Yep. I'd like to see an option to delete flight plans I dont need or want. Same for aircraft. I have several aircraft on my list and want to get rid of all but one. Is it in a file somewhere that can be edited/removed?
In addition to being able to delete flight plans (desperately needed please!) I would also suggest the ability to rename flight plans that have been saved.
Of course, given the ability to delete we can "create copy", save to a new name then delete the old name... clumsy but doable. Renaming along with deleting would be greatly appreciated improvements.
Thank you for such a valuable tool for flight planing!
Actually, you can rename an existing flight plan by opening it, changing some details (or just adding, then deleting some wayponit), then simply changing its name when asked to save the plan.
Btw, this is a handy way to 'recycle' the old flight plans that cannot be deleted.
Alternatively, you can always use as a draft the same one plan, named say 'Work', copy it when ready and rename the copy accordingly.
Of course, being able to simply delete the old flight plans would be the easiest solution.
As it once was said, I don’t want the old plan to drop off. I want to keep the ones I want to keep and delete the ones I want to delete, plus rename those I want to rename. Should be intuitive and not complicated.
When I try to resave a flight plan with a different name on which I've changed a couple of waypoints, it erases the previous save. What am I doing wrong?
The most recently used tail numbers will appear under the aircraft tail numbers, after that they are still in the system and will pop up as you type. There's isn't a way to delete N#s currently. Yes, I know, this does not make everyone happy.
We are currently designed to be used to flight plan, not for use in the cockpit. Once you have a flight plan you like, you can export it to something you use.
click the button in the flight plan window on the far right, and export.
Old plans will eventually fall off, but they're never really deleted. We'll work on an interface to let you 'hide' plans you no longer want to see.
Is this still on the radar? It would be nice to hide or better yet delete plans I don't need.
Yes, I don't want them to drop off. I want to keep the ones I want to keep and delete the ones I want to delete.
I hope to do this as soon as possible, becouse I have very old FPLs and i want to delete it!
You have a very useful product. How do I delete no longer needed flight plans?
I've got a bunch of junk in my saved plans that I never flew and don't need. Any way to get them out of the way yet?

Thank you for the tip!
That is so much better than what I've been doing and I'll give it a try while I wait, hopefully, for a delete function.

Flight Plans disappear 5 days past ETD. If you want to keep a plan forever, do not add an ETD.
Is there a way to delete old plans yet?
Just add a date from the past. They then magically disappear. Not maybe everyones best idea, but it works.
yep that works. dont know why i took so long to finally google the question. lol

I am having the same issue when I edit a saved flight plan and rename it, my original flight plan, which I want to keep is deleted.
Please advise how to fix this?
Czshadow29
I am having a hard time understanding why there is not a fix by now the first time i see a comment is in 2016
And a delete for old aircraft
Do we have to delete our account and start over to get this to work ??????

how do I delete aircraft N #s of aircraft I no longer wamt to use
