Click for Pilot's Seat
I tried clicking on the flight-deck but, negative contact. I guess I'll continue flying light singles and twins... at least for now. :)

Left seat
With the way times have changed and the way the world is, we all would rather take the left seat.

Filght into known.....
I spend a lot of time alone in the airplane with my cameras. One man aerial photography requires a fair amount of concentration what with attitudes, altitudes and such. On a recent trip, a friend asked smiling if he could bring a gun. I said sure as long as you don't point it at me. I then proceeded to show him the buckle your seat belt routine. I then reached over and showed him just how easy it was to open the door. He just looked at me with a blank expression. I never bothered to ask him what he was thinking after that. I sure hope he enjoyed the flight.

SkyVector Contest Suggestion

I think this should be under "About SkyVector", but I don't seem to have the option to post a comment there.

I'm suggesting a "contest" using SkyVector.  The object of the contest is to see who can plot the least cost route around the lower 48 states.

Suggested Rules:

Use only SkyVector

The route must be to or over all the bordering states: WA, CA, AZ, NM, TX, LA, MS, AL, FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, ME, PA, NY, OH, MI, WI, MN, ND, MT, & ID.

No hops over 400 NM

Use only airports shown on SkyVector

Use fuel prices shown on SkyVector

Assume 10GPH

Only fuel cost is considered

Document the route with a screen print of it on SkyVector and a Link of the route

Once contestants get into this, added complexities can be added, like extra credit for the least time, etc.

It gives us something to do in the limited flying winter season.

What do you think?
