Multiple Legs

How do I add multiple legs with the new format? I used to be able to click Plan on each location and it would add it as a leg. Now it gets rid of the previous stop and replaces it with the new location, only allowing a start and end point with no points in between.

where is my old Skyvector?

Is the government running Skyvector now?  They took a good thing and broke it.

Concur - what went wrong???

Wow - woke up this morning to a "new" skyvector that lost the very things it was great for.....it was simple and easy to use....now it is a pain??  Used to be click and build a route, modify it quick, and out the door you go.....I built a route and can't seem to figure out how to delete it or modify it...??

I have tried for an hour do do a simple plan. Sky Vector is now useless to me now.

I can string a line between 2 airports... and when I drag the magenta line to a waypoint between both airports it takes me to that waypoint after the destination...


Can anyone help with instructions to use????

I have just tried the new SkyVector and found I can produce a plan with legs by inputting start and destination and then dragging the course line to an intermediate fix or nav aid .

The nav log will then give all relevant info.


Waypoints are WAY AFTER points

When I try to do this it adds the intermediate point *after* my destination. I have tried both Firefox and Chrome and both act the same way. I am extremely frustrated. I used to use this application every time I flew. Now I can't figure out how to do anything.

rubber-banding vs right-click

I suspect that they're telling you to rubber-band, and you're right-clicking.


Rubberbanding is when you pick up an existing magenta line and drag and drop it somewhere. It feels like the rightclick->plan interface, but its inserting instead of adding.

Once your departure and destination is set, you shouldn't ever rightclick. You should do all the manipulations to the course line with the left mouse button.

Multiple legs

How are you selecting  points along the way to your destination?  Right clicking seems to work for me.  When I right click the option appears to allow you to add to the enroute plan.

Flight plan using lat/longs

The new flight plan route box doesn't seem to accept the old route's method of lat/long entry.

Used to be I could get a route for something like:

Each element being a lat/long waypoint, space seperated.

The new version doesn't seem to recognize it (no action taken at all).  Tried using just two waypoints... no joy.

Anyone have better luck?
