Here we can discuss the site.

ZZZZ AIrfields

Hi,

Sorry that I repeat this from another part of the forum, but I wasn't really sure the best place for it.

Seems to only save one flight plan

I entered a flight plan and saved it with a unique name, then made some changes and saved it again with a new name. When I go to open a flight plan it only shows the last one I saved. Doesn't seem like that's the way it should work. I think it should let me save multiple different plans (like Foreflight). Am I doing something wrong or do we need a fix?

ETOPS Range circles

Hi Team,

Do you have any plans to include an option to draw ETOPS range circles around an airport?

Anoop

Best d*mn flight planner around!

I'm doing my IFR rating in Germany right now and I have to say that even though I have been using Skyvector on and off again over the past years, it has really been an outstanding flight planning aid the past months. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes!! :) :) :)

rotating charts

for terminal proceudre charts that are oriented horizontally, could they not just open up in a horizontal window?  or at least when you hit the rotate button could it rotate the whole window and not just the chart in it?

routes wont open

hello, i have set the departure and the destination either by clicking on the airport or filling the name and cant get the routes to open, i click on the routes and nothing happens

Scale of cloud tops overlay at low altitudes

Hi.

Congratulations (and thanks) in general for a great job with the site.

Adding the cloud tops overlay is a very good idea in general, but at the moment it is not very useful for me: I only fly piston-powered planes, so in non-convective weather I will be stuck in the thick far below FL300. What I would like to know is if the tops are at 10, 15, 20 or 25000ft.

So could you:

1. add a more detailed scale below 30,000ft, or

2. tell us the altitude of the 3 shades of grey before the yellow, or

I'm not asking for an iPad app!

Hi guys, when i'm flying, the only electronic other than my android phone, is my ipad. Can you guys create a funcionality to emulate the right mouse click? And the dragging with the left botton? That would be of great help planning when on the road...

thanks

J

Range circle based on desired time and aircraft

Hi,

I've always wanted a way to just plug in the amount of time I'm willing to fly and select my configured aircraft and see a shaded circle of the range that is "possible".  Would make my $100 hanburger adventures much easier to plan.  What are the chances you could add that?  What are the chances you could hire me to add that :) ?

Cheers,

Brad

Taking on fuel on longer flight

Is there a method to enter taking on fuel at an intermediate stop in the flight planner?  For example: flying from 11R (Brenhem, TX) to KCOS, I plan to stop at KCDS for fuel.  The Nav Log shows that I will be -10 gal of fuel when I arrive at KCOS.  I could place the additional fuel in the form at the start, but that would not give accurate values for early portions of the route.  I could also build 2 separate plans, but that wouldn't show the full route as nicely.

This feature might be nice to have for multi-stop routes.
