SkyVector.com was founded in 2005 by a web developer who was learning to fly. Since then it has grown in popularity to become the number one internet destination for aeronautical charts.

A recent rewrite of the core map code was recently completed. This will allow SkyVector to add more exciting features in the months to come. In addition, a forum was added to allow users to discuss site usage and features, and flying in general.

SkyVector is not an official source of flight information and should not be used for navigation.
