Special thanks to Edna and Montana for their helpfulness. Make this a stop on your journey. I had an alternator failure and in cabin smoke on climb out and had to return to KCKB. The entire team at V1 could not have been more helpful. Without asking, they stepped into action locating a mechanic, arranging for a hotel that would take the pets, allowing the dogs to hang out in the cool waiting area on a very hot humid day, helping transfer the bags to the plane. Their kindness made the stress of an emergency landing fade quickly and eased the long wait for a rescue flight. Definitely will become a re-occurring customer when in the area.
