RWY 09/27
Runway 09/27 has a hard surface. It's probably asphalt, not sure though.

Looking at RWY 09/27 in
Looking at RWY 09/27 in Google Maps and Bing, it appears that originally it was concrete for this full width. Then at some point, this was covered with asphalt. Then the whole thing rotted away, the asphalt scabbing off and the concrete cracking. Then they resurfaced the central strip between the paint stripes with fresh asphalt, but the verges are still pretty rough-looking.
