Bisbee Douglas International Airport (KDUG) is a public-use airport owned and operated by Cochise County. The airport was constructed between 1941 and 1943 and was used as a bomber training airfield during World War II. In 1949, the U.S. government gave the airport to Cochise County as a regional air transportation center. It is located 10 miles northwest of the central business district of Douglas, Arizona, and 24 miles east of Bisbee, Arizona. The Federal Aviation Administration's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems includes the airport, categorizing it as a general aviation facility.
