The Port of South Louisiana Executive Regional Airport (KAPS) serves as the aerial gateway to one of the largest tonnage ports in the western hemisphere. Business and Corporate jets frequent the airport when traveling to southeast Louisiana because of its convenience and personal service. Executive Regional is located outside of the busy Class B airspace. Another major benefit is we never charge a landing nor ramp fee.

For the recreational flyer, we are located right in the heart of Louisiana’s Plantation Country where tourists come from near and far to visit. For the traveler flying in for a vacation to New Orleans, we are just a short drive into downtown New Orleans (approximately 35 minutes). KAPS can also provide hassle-free service to all charter jet companies.

The Port of South Louisiana’s goal is to incorporate cargo services to the Executive Regional Airport in the future. The Executive Regional Airport’s close proximity to Globalplex Intermodal Terminal, the Port’s public facility, rounds out the intermodality of the terminal by conceivably allowing the Port to move cargo by water, rail, highway, and air.
