Some years ago I attempted to get the airport to implement a noise abatement procedure to no avail since I don't live on the island and couldn't follow up. I have a house just east of Nisbet and everyone in the neighborhood complains, especially the Nisbet guests. I am looking for a pilot or ATC person who lives on Nevis who would be willing to work with me on this project. I spoke to the new manager of Nisbet last week and he is all on board to approach the ATC authorities about implementing a sensible program of getting pilots to turn out over the water as soon as practicable to alleviate the noise for Newcastle, Nisbet and others.
