Great Fly-In Breakfast Spot – Jackie’s at 80D Taxi Right Up
Jackie’s Airport Restaurant at 80D is exactly the kind of place general aviation needs more of. The airport has a long, well-maintained paved runway and brand-new lighting, making it an easy and comfortable arrival even later in the day. You can taxi right up to the restaurant, which makes it incredibly convenient.
The food is excellent—simple, well-prepared, and consistently good—and the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to most places you’d drive to. It’s an ideal breakfast or lunch fly-in destination.
Spots like this are part of what makes flying worthwhile. Pilots should make a point to stop in and support small, airport-based restaurants like Jackie’s so they continue to exist.
