I often ask if the locals know 'how lucky they are' when I visit a place like Shelby.  The airport is well maintained with lots of GA activity.  The terminal has everything that the traveler needs on a cross country stopover and is one of the best maintained inside and out.  But what makes a good airport is the people and this is a very good airport.
