Great and friendly place to fly to and go to town for lunch. Mike is great guy and will go out of his way to help you including a car and his fuel is always priced fair if not the lowest in the area. 

You must stop and see for your self. There is a small mexican restaurant in Paonia that has good food. Have fun

Interesting airport to land at.  The runway pretty much fills a small mesa.  I've been here several times and never found the airport manned.  Fuel prices are competitive.  There is a small lounge, but no bathrooms.  There is a shelter and picnic table at the end of runway 23.

Bathrooms are located behind the white house just outside the gate by the fuel pump.  If you call ahead a courtesy car can be arranged.
