Comments
Landing at Lumpkin Field
Foreflight users comments more than once use the word "challenging." The field is not as difficult as some make out, but review of the charts is essential. Terrain arises fairly steeply in most directions, so expect drafts accordingly. Plan for a crosswind component. Quite tall trees grace either end of the field. Over 1400' of the 3042' runway is displaced threshold. Extremely friendly local pilots.
