Excellent facilities
This was a great stop for my visit to the Maritime museum. 24 hour fuel and pilot lounge access. Nice.
Great Day Trip
Flew in on a busy Saturday to visit the WWII Cobia submarine and maritime exhibit downtown. As the courtesy car was being used, I inquired if there were any bicycles available as I had previously read that the FBO offered them. I neglected to ask his name, but the Airport Manager/Line Staff Supervisor employee was gracious enough take the time to locate three bicycles and ensure the tires were filled with air. Manitowoc is a very easy city to navigate on a bicycle and we enjoyed a great lunch at the Courthouse Pub. The submarine tour and maritime museum were also amazing, and I highly recommend both. We finished the afternoon by visiting the lighthouse and Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo. Great airport and plenty of aircraft parking. Nice FBO facilities and runways. A perfect day trip destination.
